Pimp Daddy Sage Blog Pimp #2

Welcome to the second blog pimping. I choose blogs to feature mostly at random, but blogs I believe you all would read enjoy if you knew about them, or they are just my buds and I like them and think you should check them out. Sunday Slides one post below, check those out and comment. Hnt down there somewhere if you didn't see that, some other foolishness in between. Will do a Q&A post sometime this week, likely Wed. or Fri., about 60 questions have come in so maybe it will be two posts. I'll still take questions if you have them either in the comment box or in email. I am always up for posting ideas and requests so anyone that has any of those go ahead and say it and I'll see what I can do. Let the blog pimping commence..........

The blog I am going to pimp this week is Secrets blog. She doesn't post everyday but she does try to post at least weekly. Her posts are erotic thoughts and the writing of detailed actual happenings. She manages somehow, amazingly, to pull this off with short posts. Her writing is very erotic and sexy and naughty. She does a very good job turning me on every time she posts (admittedly not a tough task). Of course one thing that she does is comment back to every comment in the comment box, every one, every time, which of course gains her much favor with me, she also comments in Sageville and I see her comments around other places so she does return the love when she can. Her time is limited and somewhat restrained as her blog is not known by her SO, a dilemma I can fully understand. Please read her answers to the Pimping Sage Questions below and if her answers and my description make you believe that Pocket Secrets might be a place you would like to hang out then hit her up, read and comment.

1: What motivated you to start a blog?
My crappy memory. I have to write things down that I want to remember. Only it's probably not a great idea to write "got bent over car hood by lover" on a post-it note. Everything I write on my blog is true. Has actually happened. So in a way it is like a living diary for me. I can go back to verify the date of something, or to re-live a moment. To re-wet the panties so to speak. Those are the best. Reading takes me right back to that slice of naughtiness.

2: Do you feel a certain responsibility to blog daily? If so why?
I don't blog daily but I do feel that obligation to blog weekly. But here's the thing-since the only rule I set for myself was that I wanted it to be non-fiction-I'm sort of stuck having to wait for something to inspire me. Good thing I am a such a needy slut and never have to wait long. The posts I like best are the one's that come from the heat of the moment. When I'm still reeling from the sights, sounds and smells. Oddly enough music will motivate me too. If I am listening to something hard and fast I find myself using more words like "fuck" and "cunt". If the music is mellow my post turns out all soft and mushy.

3: Do the comments shape/help shape what you write about?
No. But I love comments! I was a lurker for so long on other blogs and it was such a relief to come out of that shadow. Considering it is so easy to even comment anonymously I wish more people would comment. I'm also so sincerely shocked when someone says that they've enjoyed something I've written. Who doesn't love those kind strokes. They make me purr.

4: Does your family/friends know your blog and do they have access?
Hell no! I have one real life friend who knows about the blog. Because it's her job to take a hammer to my hard drive should I become dead. My lover knows the blog exists but I've never told him how to find it. I don't want him finding it. I've always thought it would slant the writing if you knew the person you were writing about would be reading it. Heck, even all you guys reading it makes me squirmy in my seat. Well, who am I kidding I'm always squirmy in my seat!

5: What makes a good blog to you?
Since I'm usually short on time I like shorter posts. I like when the blogger comments back in the comment section. And of course I love the dirty nasty ones!

6. Would you recommend blogging to your friends in the real world?
Absolutely! It's such a blast. I've made some really cool friends through my blog. It may seem like such a huge place, but I am always amazed at what a close-knit group it really is. I have "my boys" who I honestly think would step in and kick some ass if they felt I'd been wronged. I have "my girls" who feel like the kind of friends I have known forever. It's a little like being schizophrenic having the blog me and the real me, keeping the two at arms length, but I love the rush of having those secrets.

7. Why/how did you choose your blog name?
Pocket Secrets. It just popped into my head. I was thinking of all my secrets that I am always carrying around with me, on me. In my pocket. Actually, when I first set up the blog (my first and only) I had NO idea that anyone but me would ever be seeing it. Honestly. I was bored and playing around. I filled in the blanks they asked for without thinking about the big picture. I think it's important to stick with one style, one theme, to be known for a look. Which just means that now I'm stuck with my initial set-up choices. For instance, on blog rolls I am listed as A. Secret and also as Pocket Secrets. My email addy has nothing to do with my blog name. Little things like that I know now I should have thought through. Hint hint for anyone thinking about starting a blog.

8. Who is the ONE person they most hope will NEVER find their blog?
Ohhh the list is long.

9. Have they ever met with any long time commenters/bloggers/readers? -
Like ever been recognized at the supermarket by someone who reads
your blog?
Nope I've never met a blogger. There are quite a few I'd like to have a drink with though. Including you my friend Sage!! For now I think I can avoid donning a wig and sunglasses. Though a wig and sunglasses might make for some interesting playtime now that I mention it.....
